Field Supervisor (TB & Malaria) _ 6 Positions

PSI Myanmar seeks (6) positions of Field Supervisor (TB and Malaria) at Yangon, Mandalay, Sagaing, Magway, Bago, and Hinthada or Danuphyu, who will play the critical role in implementation of TB & Malaria activities at the assigned territory by supporting and monitoring Community Health Facilitators (CHF) for intensive planning of activities. They are expected to direct supervise the CBTBC volunteers and/or pharmacies ensuring to meet the assigned targets, and coordinate between relevant stakeholders for record keeping, reporting, and supply chain management in the assigned areas.

YOU CONTRIBUTION:

  • Develop territory planning, individual targets for CHF, and conduct monthly monitoring and supervision visits to direct supervisees.
  • Facilitate the payment of provider allowances and support incentives.
  • Check the accuracy and completeness of the reports generated by CHF before submission.
  • Conduct periodic monitoring and supervision visits to high or low performers as needed.
  • Support in recruiting and on-site training for community providers, volunteers, and pharmacies.
  • Perform the advocacy to public/private labs, affiliated X-ray centers, and local health authorities, and assist in program-related tasks at the township level as necessary.
  • Assist and coordinate with the National Program in distribution of medical supplies and logistic arrangements of inventory in assigned areas.
  • Build a good relationship and coordinate with the service providers for accurate data collecting, proper documentation, information completeness, and effective activities implementation.
  • Assist in identifying and rewarding high-performing service providers in assigned areas.
  • Facilitate and support in M&E visits, health education trainings, and activities alongside the Operation Officer as necessary.
  • Submit the monthly progress reports and updates of assigned areas to the Operation Officer.
  • Perform the other related tasks as assigned by the Operation Officer. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, and any health-related degree is an asset.
  • Minimum three years in relevant experience, preferably in community health operations, and/or behavior change programming.
  • Possesses strong communication and advocacy skills, and able to work in multicultural environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with health reporting systems.
  • Able to travel extensively within assigned areas and hold a valid motorcycle driving license. 
  • Able to work independently and/or collaboratively under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Should be organized, systematic, dynamic, reliable, and proactive, and must interact well with others.
