Understanding where and why they seek care for febrile illness: Findings from forest goers in malaria hotspot townships of Myanmar

Forest goers are bearing high malaria infection risk due to the nature of their occupations in forests. While moving towards elimination in Myanmar, they become an important target group as understanding their care-seeking behaviors would enable programs to design tailored interventions. The study aimed to explore how these populations seek care for fever, usually during their last fever episode, and their rationale for decision making.
